- Description: The refrigerator portion is freezing my food at the recommended refrigerator temp of 38 degrees. Second problem is I woke up to a puddle of water on the kitchen floor and discovered my ice in the ice maker is melting. The freezer temp is set on zero I’m also missing 2 shelves in my freezer . My house is brand new and the refrigerator is only two months old. I contacted the builder and they told me to contact whirlpool since it still under warranty . I truly believe this fridge is 2nd hand
