- Description: Refrigerator seems to be working just fine but the freezer stopped producing ice so I replaced the water filter and then whenever I went to check the ice drawer I noticed that everything was defrosting. There is no ice anywhere like no buildup No frost nothing. The temperature gauge panel in the fridge says that the freezer is set to 0°. I have opened the freezer to try to listen for a fan I don't hear anything but I'm also not sure what I'd be listening for.
