- Description: Hello! My washer has been having issues since I moved into this unit. The pump was replaced about two months ago, and it worked fine for only 1–2 weeks. After that, whenever I start a cycle—whether the washer is full or empty—it begins making a very loud, consistent thumping noise during the spin cycle. The clothes still wash, but the sound is extremely loud and booming. I also have videos of the issue, since it doesn’t happen at the very start of the cycle, only once it reaches the spin phase.
