- Description: Dryer will run, but heat doesn't come up. I didn't hear any clicking of the gas valve solenoids. Following information in the Sears Tech Sheet, I tested the voltages at the heater relay. I got 0V for the relay supply voltage. The tech sheet says this indicates the thermistor should be replaced. A parts list in the tech sheet shows a part number of 3976615, Thermistor — NTC 10K ohms. My thermistor shows close to this resistance. I also checked the thermal fuse, and that appears to be a complete open circuit. I think I need the thermal fuse, part number 3390719.
