- Description: Our dryer stopped heating about 1 month ago. We cleaned all of the vents. We replaced the timer with one from ebay but that did not work. The dryer turns on and will start a load but there is no heat and the timer does not advance. We think it could also potentially be a wire problem. We have had our dryer for a year and we bought it used.
