- Description: The gasket in our washing machine was very dirty when we moved in. There is a strong odor and mildew visible. I ran several clean cycles using specialized washing machine cleaning tablets and went in and removed a lot of the gunk I could see but the odor is persistent, so much that it can be smelled as soon as you walk into into the bedroom. Can someone please look at this and potentially have it professionally cleaned? Or newborn baby is sleeping in the room with us for the next several months and we want to make sure she’s not breathing in mold. Thank you.
