- Description: This is a 2016 Samsung electric dryer. The dryer runs but does not heat. There are no error codes on the digital faceplate. I've taken the dryer apart and checked the thermistor, thermostat, and thermal fuse and they all maintain continuity through them. There are also no shorts that I can find. While the dryer was open, I replaced the pully wheel and pully belt, and a couple of the drum wheels. I also cleaned the blower and all the exhaust tubing (internal and external). I closed everything back up and ran the dryer for 5 minutes and found that it was heating. So I reconnected the wall vent and ran the dryer with clothes in it. I checked after 15 minutes and it was not heating anymore. So I disconnected the exhaust from the wall port and the dryer still didn't heat. Now I'm at a loss.
