- Description: Hi, I have a front load washer. It had an odor bc if that front plastic ring. I bleach it, wipe it out after each load but doesn’t seem to matter. Also where I put my detergent & fabric softener. The detergent tray is draining out into the wash but the fabric softener wasn’t. I have stopped using anything in that tray but even now that I don’t, it’s filling with water when I wash a load. I dry it out each time afterwards also.
