- Description: 12 days ago a Puls repair man deiced our refrigerator and it was working when he left. this weekend it started making noise which is coming from the refrigerator recirculating fan as indicated by it stopping when the refrigerator door is opened, I believe it is due to icing over again with ice forming in the fan area. This is probably being caused by inadequate defrosting of the area around the fan. The repair man should be prepared to add a supplemental heating element or something else to keep that area from freezing up. Also, my wife is complaining of smelling burning wires or something when the refrigerator cooling system is running.
