- Description: The freezer first was constantly saying -8F degrees on the screen but my ice cream was soft and not normal , I checked with thermal gun and it was 41F. I then power cycled the fridge and then the temp read 41F ,so the temp was reading was false and stuck at first. But now it’s reading correct but only 38 when set to -6 . Ice container is dripping water due to not being cold enough to freeze the ice. Either the thermostat or the compressor went up.
