- Description: Ice maker has been on the fritz. Sometimes it will dispense ice sometimes it won’t. Sometimes it will dispense water on command and sometimes it won’t. Sometimes it won’t do anything when you push the button and then 3 -10 seconds later it will dispense. The Ice machine is making ice but recently started melting and dripping so we emptied it. It also feels like refrigerator isn’t getting as cold. This happened to our last kitchen aid and after several maintenance calls they replaced the entire refrigerator. It’s been a year or two since that and it’s been working fine until a month or so ago.
