- Description: I was washing a small load of socks and undergarments when the washing machine started making the sound it makes when it is off-balance -- but it stopped before I could get to it to correct the imbalance. Since then, the machine works -- but it is not spinning correctly or something because things come out wetter than normal when the cycle is finished. I have not been using the machine as a result. I washed a small test load once just to see what would happen after this initial problem.
