- Description: The washwe is filling up with water, but not turning the clothes. I think the belt broke or slipped off. Its not that old of a washer. Do you look at dryers as well...my tenant said both were down. First the washer then the next day the dryer. I just had the dryer vent cleaned in June, so it's not that, there should be plenty of air flow.
