- Description: Samsung clothes dryer DV48J7770G Model No: DV48J7700GW/A2 1. The dryer was running, no heat, and the laundry was wet. It didn't display an error code. 2. I opened it (I had it repaired in 2017). I removed the drum, closed the door switch, released the belt idle, and turned it on. The control panel worked fine, the motor started, the igniter lit up, and I immediately turned it off, remembering I'd forgotten to turn on the gas valve. 3. I turned on the gas valve and tried to turn on the power, but immediately there was a small flash of light and a barely noticeable burning smell. I immediately turned off the power. We couldn't find the area with the burning smell or damaged wires. 4. The third attempt to turn on the dryer returned the error code "HC ", which repeated after that. 5. Thermistor (next to motor) R=12K. Thermal switch (next to motor) R=0. 6. Gas valve booster R=0.6K. Gas valve holder R=1.4K Gas valve White-Red R=1K. 7. Igniter R=100 Ohm. Thermal switch (on the burner) R=0.
