- Description: Everything has defrosted. I have followed the directions from the call-in number for Frigidaire and claimed every square inch of it. I plugged it back in and it still does not work on the thermometer that I put in the freezer is 78°. I have a five year warranty that I bought when I got the refrigerator from Home Depot three years and one months ago. I am having a difficult time getting Allstate to agree that I still have almost 2 years on my warranty. I need the warranty to take care of this.
