- Description: There is a loud consistent humming / grumbling noise when the fridge and freezer doors closed. It stops when the doors are opened. We looked and it’s not an ice buildup. And if we unscrew the freezer and take apart, and then put back together, it stopped for a few hours, but then would start again. We canceled our appointment earlier since we thought it was fixed, but it just started again. It’s also a pretty new fridge from the last year or 2.
