- Description: I have the rf28k9380sr Samsung model fridge so on the dual French flex zone freezer doors the light stays on when doors are closed and triggers the door alarm and fridge to fault out and not turn the compressor. I have checked and done some easy troubleshooting and found the following…checked continuity on all reed switches and are working, the actual door pin switch doesn’t seem to trigger anything when pressed down, I have ordered and replaced the main control board (Samsung DA94-04399E ) which did not solve the problem, visually checked main wiring harness on top did find some worn wires and plugs as the fridge was bought used and previous owner had movers take doors apart for a house move which probably might have caused the problem I’m currently having, but otherwise the harness seemed ok considering the above mentioned, I think I have done as much as I can do to this point.
