- Description: Maytag Bravo XL washing machine. Runs on a cycle, but doesn’t drain and do a rinse and spin. The lid stays locked and you can’t open the top. You then have to unplug it, until the lid lock button goes off, then have to unplug it and then hit extra rinse and spin. I believe it may have something to do with the latch - lid lock piece

- Description: The dryer has to run almost 3 to 5 times to dry clothes. More frequently there has been a faint burning smell. I vacuum out the lint multiple times a month. And I detach the whose regularly in a year to vacuum out the wet lint or clog on this level. But the vent to outside is on the roof and it’s only been cleaned once since we rented the house and that was probably 2 years ago. I think it needs cleaning again.
