- Description: I set about trying to fix it myself watching YouTube figuring the lid switch needed replacement. I got to the part where I needed to remove the nut from the green ground wire and got stuck—I couldn’t make out what tool the tech was using and I didn’t want to strip the nut. It is a Hevy Duty Kenmore Series 90 Washer and it doesn’t drain or spin. I hope your tech can deal with my starting the job.
